On 18th,Oct 2008, The Opening Ceremony of 1st Asian Beach Games Bali 2008 was held at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana, a monumental cultural park in Nusa Dua, beginning at 8:00 pm. Mr. Susilo, the president of Indonesia, Mr.Jaques Rogge, the president of IOC(International Olympic Committee), Mr. Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Sabah, the chairman of OCA(Olympic Council of Asia) , Ms. Rita Subowo, the stationed ambassadors and government officials and athletes from 45 countries participated in the opening ceremony.
Asian Beach Games are one of the comprehensive games created by Olympic Council of Asia, which has become one of the four main games in Asia, More than 3000 athletes from 45 countries participated in these games. After tough competition, LAX became the official partner and sound system provider of 1st Asian Beach Games Bali 2008. LAX not only had to solve the problem of time and efficiency during this project, but also the environment problem tropical marine climate and rainy season (October is rainy season in Bali). With rich experience in engineering, LAX engineers designed ideal sound solution for 20 individual game venues, and finally achieved the targets. More than 220 pcs of AT228 speakers and 340 pcs of amplifiers and digital products have been applied for the games. With unbelievable speed, LAX finished the acoustic setup and tuning for all venues within very short time. Bali Beach Games Organizing Committee was very impressed and amazed by LAX's high efficiency and excellent performance. |
