The Universiade is an international sporting and cultural festival which is staged every two years in a different city and which is second in importance only to the Olympic Games. The Summer Universiade consists of 12 compulsory sports (Athletics - Basketball - Fencing - Football - Gymnastics - Judo - Swimming - Diving - Water Polo - Table Tennis - Tennis - Volleyball) and up to three optional sports chosen by the host country. The number of participants for the Universiade from all over the world is increasing.
For perfectly accomplishing all the prestigious projects and events,such as the BeiJing Olympic 2008, Major League Baseball Games 2008, Asian Beach Games 2008, in world standard. LAX, is once again, approved by the FISU (The International University Sports Federation) to be the Exclusive Sound System Provider of Universiade 2011.
